Financial Aid Suspension Workshop

This work shop is only for students who are on Financial Aid Suspension and who are wanting to complete an appeal to possibly regain eligiblity. Students have the right to appeal suspension of financial aid eligibility due to unsatisfactory progress. In order to complete the appeal process students MUST attend a Financial Aid workshop.

At this workshop you will learn what is needed in order to appeal your financial aid suspension and what is required of you in the future. ACADEMIC ADVISORS WILL BE AVAILALE TO DISCUSS ACADEMIC PLAN.

Academic Success Workshop

If your grade point average is below the stated average in the College Catalog for continued good academic standing, you must attend an academicsuccess workshop. This workshop is for students at NSCC on academic probation status. If you are on Suspension status, you must make an individual appointment with the Student Resource Center staff.

In this Academic Success Workshop for students on probation status, you will have the opportunity to develop an educational plan, learn about the College expectations to return to good academic standing, and link with College resources that will help you meet your educational and career goals.

The workshop will run for about one hour in Room 109 in the A Building. This room is in the Northeast corner of the library.

27th Annual Doll & Teddy Bear Show & Sale Doll lovers and collectors will enjoy browsing in Founder’s Hall as exhibitors share their antique dolls, original dolls, teddy bears, and modern collectibles as well as accessories, supplies, artist reproductions, clothing, doll furniture, books and patterns. A special guest artist will be at the Village for the weekend to sign dolls and talk with collectors. There will be workshops, lectures and other doll-themed activities throughout the weekend.
